Kelly Tousley, MA, ECSE, BCBA 


Clinical Supervisor

Kelly has a Master's in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She later completed her BCBA certification at University of Colorado, Denver. She has a special interest in early development and loves teaching communication and joint-attention skills. Kelly has largely taught emerging communication skills, and often uses a variety of alternative speaking methods. In the past two years she invested in learning and implementing skill-based treatment (SBT) when learners have severe and potentially dangerous challenges within their behavior repertoires. She has used these methods of intervention in clinical, home, and school-based settings with success. Kelly loves dogs and the outdoors: often you will find her hiking, camping, skiing or snowboarding. She also likes to host game nights and dinner parties with friends. 

Annalisa Deitz, MS, BCBA

Consultant

Annalisa moved to the Gunnison Valley in the summer of 2017 and has worked for the Adaptive Sports Center as an outdoor instructor for people of all abilities. She worked for the Gunnison Watershed School District as a Special Education Paraprofessional, and most recently, she worked with the school district in implementing a new behavior program for students with diverse behavioral needs and challenges. Annalisa is passionate about working with people with disabilities and is excited to pursue her career in ABA.

Ellie Arellano, BA 


Consultant in Training

Ellie graduated from Fort Lewis College earning a B.A. in Adventure Education. She chose this program because it was hands-on learning and outdoors! Ellie struggled her entire k-12 school career having a learning disability and not knowing how to overcome the challenges she faced.  Ellie recently was inspired by working as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Ridgway Elementary School working with students with disabilities. She quickly realized that she wanted to learn more about serving these individuals in the school district. Ellie is working towards  a M.A. in Special Education, with an emphasis on ABA. When not working, Ellie loves running, backpacking and spending time with her dog, Frank. 

Abigail Padilla, MA 

Pod Leader & Consultant in Training

Abby earned her Bachelor's of Science from Colorado State University. Abby is also an RBT. Abby is working on her Master's at Colorado State University, Denver and eventual BCBA certification. Her special interest is providing services for Spanish speakers - both clients and parents. She also loves functional communication training. In her own time she is often doing DIY, thrift shopping or hanging out with her dogs and family. 

Taylor Malone


Registered Behavior Technician

After studying at Peak Virtual Academy and becoming BLS certified, Taylor worked at a crisis center for a year and a half. There, Taylor met people who had autism: he liked to see how someone's brain clicks when resolving a problem. In addition to being a musician, a snowboarder, a rock climber, Taylor enjoys competitively eating pizza rolls!

Raquel Lovato


Behavior Technician

Raquel comes to CAC with school experience working as a paraprofessional in a special needs classroom. In her free time, Raquel likes to play basketball and guitar, as well as baking and decorating cakes. 

Nevaeh Rodriguez


Behavior Technician

Nevaeh holds a high school diploma and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology at Colorado Mesa University. With a special interest in learning how to use and apply the skills and tools within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Nevaeh is dedicated to understanding and implementing effective behavioral strategies. Outside of academics, Nevaeh enjoys painting, hiking, skiing, camping, and listening to music.

Yovanna Montoya


Behavior Technician

Yovanna is deeply committed to making a meaningful impact in her clients’ lives. She enjoys seeing their day to day and future progress. She is especially interested in expanding her skills in American Sign Language to better connect with clients who respond well to this form of communication. Outside of work, Yovanna enjoys binge-watching shows, doing her nails, and experimenting with makeup. 

Tesse Loveless

Behavior Technician

Tesse holds a B.A. from Miami University and is an optimistic advocate dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others and the planet. Her work and personal choices are guided by a passion for serving and supporting the vulnerable. She is excited to be part of the ABA community and is thankful for the opportunity to contribute. Outside of work, Tesse loves books, exploring nature and new places, meeting people, enjoying tea, and the Oxford comma. 

Marilyn Fernandez

Behavior Technician

Marilyn is interested in ABA and its profound impact on clients and their families. With a deep understanding of the challenges parents face, she draws from her personal experiences to offer compassionate and effective support. Marilyn’s journey has guided her to a commitment to making a positive difference. Outside of work, Marilyn enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors.

Sonya Bean

Behavior Technician

Sonya is a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about forming new friendships with young children and helping them learn through play. She loves spending quality time with her daughter and big family. In her free time, Sonya enjoys doing puzzles and reading books. 

Jackson Hart

Behavior Technician

Jackson holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Colorado University and Capella University. He is passionate about using behavioral approaches to improve the lives of children. When he’s not working, Jackson enjoys the outdoors—fishing, hiking, rock hounding, and mushroom hunting—along with reading and spending quality time with his family.
